It's that time of year again, on November 29th I'm once more turning 19.
You're welcome to join me in this fun little journey!
NEW BIT
People driving down, I suggest you park at the carpark at the opposite end of the old bridge to the town. Turn right as you leave the bridge, toward the Ferris Wheel, there's a carpark parallel to the water there that's usually less stress to park in than the town side. I'll post a photo later, with annotations. We will be heading over that side after lunch for sandcastles and Ferris Wheel and maybe minigolf.
This is how I will be travelling - you are welcome to join me in the train to Mandurah or get there however you like. Your presence would be the best gift - no others necessary!
Leave Perth Underground Stn Platform 2
(Stop number 99602)
10:01am
Catch Train Mandurah Line, Perth Underground Stn Platform 2
(Stop Number 99602) to Mandurah Stn Platform 2 (Stop Number 99732)
10:01am - 10:51am (50 mins)
After arriving in Mandurah we will catch the shuttlebus to the Mandurah foreshore. Suit ourselves for lunch where ever we like - I might be heading for fish and chips at town jetty but there's heaps of options along the way.
I will be walking along the estuary at leisure - there
might will be a market, two actually! A Farmer's Market and the Mandjar markets. There might be dolphins who knows. This is a low stress event and people are welcome to peel off and go exploring at their own whims or if you want a bit of a lull in all the excitement.
I will probably be heading for fish and chips, and then I will be Crossing The Bridge. If the new Disc Golf Course has been installed Disc Golf may be on the cards - and / or a ride on the Ferris Wheel and/or building of sandcastles on estuary bank.
Hope to see you and don't forget your hat and sunscreen! :-) And bucket and spade if you want to build a sandcastle. :-)
