I'm feeling a bit twitchy today, can't settle and feeling quite out of sorts. So Inktober the 12th is a very small piece, done in half an hour or so, for the period I could focus on it. Don't know what's wrong with me today. Someone else in Inktober drew a cool looking Abe from Hellboy, so that got me thinking about mermaids and such. This watermaid looks a feisty sort.

ReplyDeleteI get the same way (though maybe for different reasons). I actually tend to tense up a lot while sketching, which always makes me feel like my hand is jerking. Do you listen to music at all when you sketch? Sometimes that seems to help.
I settle into a bit of a fugue state mostly, I'd say, when I'm drawing for a longer time. Today I was twitchy before I started...I've settled a bit now, thankfully. Sometimes I listen to music when I'm drawing, but I haven't been for Inktober.
