I would have liked to spend more time on this - well, it's probably closer to an Opinicus than to a Gryphon, but I have to do some housework and cook and stuff. It turned out well enough for the time spent. I might add some more composite monsters to this page if I get more time today.

  2. It's actually a brush I got at a model store, it has a triangle profiled handle which is a lot easier to handle than most of the tiny brushes.

  3. Yes, it is!  I had to enlarge it to see.  I have some really fine drawing nibs.  I don't know that I have ever tried using a brush for ink.  Maybe I'll give it a shot before this is done.

  4. You get a more free and relaxed line with a quick brush. You also get a lot more potential for disaster but that's part of the excitement.

  5. So cool! I'd love to see what you do with a Series 7 sable brush. <3

  6. Surprisingly musical - like the canary like whistling of the whitebreasted sea eagle ending in a throaty purr.

  9. I don't have many brushes. I think I've got two sable ones - if I can put my hands on them. One's a tiny 000 and the other, I can't remember, just a smallish one.
