This is the first time I've seen this species of frog in my yard. It's a Litoria adelaidensis - the Slender Tree Frog. We usually get the motorbike frog or Litoria moorei. It's been attracted to my pond, and if it's a male, as I suspect, it will call to attract the ladies. I had just watered, and I noticed it and grabbed a photo. Of course, by the time I'd got my macro tube out, it had vanished into the vegetation.
Anyway, water on the leaves, and water nearby, and a creature that relies on our rapidly diminishing wetlands to reproduce is trying my pond. Put a frog friendly pond in your garden today, and please, keep your cats inside at night.
