Week 11: Spring or Autumn

This photo was taken during the 2013 Perth Photowalk - we are supposed to be well into Autumn here, but summer is lingering late. Still there are a few deciduous trees amongst the evergreens here, and this broken tiling I found along the way has suitably autumnal hues. Bit of an illusion here though, the myth of four seasons. We actually have 6 - at the moment Bunuru is refusing to make way for Djeran. #seeaustralia #perth2013

    For those of you interested in the seasons here, may I direct you to this wikipedia page - we are in the South West Coast/Whadjuk/Noongar area, and as I said, Djeran is being slow to arrive. 34 degrees Celsiius all week... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indigenous_Australian_seasons
