This beastie jumped from the grapefruit tree to the papyrus whilst I was watering today. It was considerate enough to hang around whilst I went and got my camera, but failed to stick around for me to get my macro tubes assembled. I've never seen one of these before in my yard, and I'm glad the chickens didn't get hold of it! It's very pretty. I wonder if Drhoz can identify it for me? It's very large for an insect!

This beastie jumped from the grapefruit tree to the papyrus whilst I was watering today.
