Title
I have word from Bronny and Tim - message follows.
Brocon Up!
From 12:00pm 31st of December - 14:00 2nd of January.
4 Grafham Road, Brookdale.
Since time immemorial Brocon has been Perth’s Premier invite only Boardgaming weekend. Bring snacks, your boardgames, your friendly attitude and your game face.
Mix and mingle with others and have a great time. Sleeping space is provided, bring your own sleeping equipment. If you are ill or cannot make it, we are sorry and hope you have a great new year. Main meals provided, but if you wish to volunteer for a meal across this time period, please let us know and we are most accommodating.
Message ends.
Please RSVP to bronwynhillside@hotmail.com and jmim00@bigpond.com
I encourage you to show your appreciation for the untiring effort Tim and Bronwyn go to to put on these events - whether it's relieving them of a burden of putting on a meal to feed us all, or a gift card from Games World, or the movies, Tactics, Bunnings or Bookshops or just taking them out to dinner sometime. And of course the ever popular washing up or dishwasher loading, or seeing what else you can do during the event to help which is probably the most appreciated of all.

Thanks, I'll contact them shortly and I'm prepared to do a soup again if that would be welcomed.
ReplyDeleteThat was such good soup!
ReplyDeleteIt might go very nicely with the carnitas I'm planning.
ReplyDeleteI will see if I can make one for a day, but I think I'm down south for a week.
ReplyDeleteThat would be lovely Garry!
ReplyDeleteI would also like to catch up at some point Garry! OK, email sent with offer of soup, and if anyone wants a game of Sentinels prior to that just let me know (Yes I brought it, and Yes it's why my luggage was JUST under the 20Kg limit...). :)
ReplyDeleteLooks like we may be sloping off after Xmas day again. I'd like to come ...
