Before it all ends on the 21st, I encourage you to catch the train to Elizabeth Quay in the evening, and watch the laser light and fountain show they run every 20 minutes until about 9:00. It's well worth a view. I don't think it's the same show every 20 minutes, either. Definitely seeing some variation. The best place to view it is in front of the ripple sculpture. You may get some spray drift from the fountains, so move back if that's an issue. There's quite a festival atmosphere down there and food and drink - there's rides and live performances, and just walking around the quay and across the bridge is fun too. Also have an evening wander through Russell Square - the last Mermaid Show is at 7:00, and the twilight period is a good time to go, between 5 and 7, say, there's a bit of entertainment and the merfolk as well. Very nice atmosphere!
