A little of #fringeworld #fringeworld2016 at the opening of Elizabeth Quay with mermaids and carousel horses. They never look that happy do they, those vintage carousel animals? I wonder if this lack of cheer ( or I guess being impaled might explain it?) inspired Lee and Miller in their Carousel Tides series.
