Extract from my blog concering last week's game. "Last week's excitement began with gaming. In an exciting turn of events, the Scary Voiced Greek Guy rushes to meet the party who are just about to give the Irish Prince a tour of the Crystal Palace, something the Prince has been dreaming of for more than a year. He blurts out that his apprentice has been kidnapped, apparently by the Tiger guy. The prince steels himself and goes all noble and sadly decides to be dropped back at the Irish delegation's quarters. He is quite firm that there is a life at stake here, and even, after an intense discussion with Tan the Bodyguard, sends his bodyguard off with The Chinese Masterchef to 'assist' in 'negotiation' with the Tiger Guy.

The Decayed Elf has a conversation with TCMC in Mandarin, startling the chef, and perhaps himself.
The DE then tries to talk his way into an interview with the Prince, which the guards for the Irish Delegation and later the maid is having none of, and retires to watch the house in case the Prince gets itchy feet. Whether to help, hinder or a handy chance to Corrupt the Youth is possibly clearer than it should be. The Prince, although, has an over developed sense of responsibility, and stays in, although he could be sighted looking out the windows rather wistfully at the London he has been admiring so long, and futility trying to spot the distant dream of The Crystal Palace.

TCMC and Tan have a talk to the Tiger Guy, who with an air of 'this is all an unfortunate misunderstanding due to over zealous employees' directs them to where they can pick up young Eric.

Meanwhile, Harry the Fixer, The Indian Fakir, and TSVGG go back to Orthrus's workshop. TSVGG departs for the Greek Bar, where he arranges a party and something of a sacrifice to Ares, in case he's being observed by the Tiger guys, to convince them he's got tough backup.

Eric, is found to be Stunned, and recovers after Harry removes the pebble in his pocket and puts it on the workbench.

Eric samples the TCMC's cooking and requests the recipe, which soon turns out to be a full on cooking lesson. Tan departs with the centaur cabbies in one of the growlers to take word to the Prince that all is well.

All's well, apparently, that ends well, except, as night begins to fall the Prince sends a message asking if all is well, and that he will be needing his bodyguard back soon.

A very good session, some clear leadership and teamwork, and other things that were not any of those, but contributed - or at least did not detract from a successful resolution of the crisis."
