Annoyed with Google+'s insistence on real names?
Annoyed with Google+'s insistence on real names? Diaspora doesn't insist, and I have some invites to give away. Bear in mind it is only in alpha release though. However it is much like Google+ in layout.
I don't actually mind if someone uses an alias and a non-photo online. But having had some of my favourite Usenet groups rendered unusable by loons and stalkers I absolutely want there to be real verifiable identity behind that public anonymity.

ReplyDeleteDavid Basden sure, I just need your email address if you don't mind. If you drop me a note on gmail I'm leeece there.
