The grass tree ranges across the length and breadth of the country that sings to me, that I was born in, that flows up through my feet. Whenever I leave my country I feel cut off and bereft.
I have no idea how I'm going to cope with going all the way to Finland in a year or two..

ReplyDeleteI think you will be terribly terribly homesick to live in such alien places that are not the world you know that is part of you. Try to remember that our species is infinitely adaptable and best of luck to you besides.
