Hi John Samuel hope you had a good flight.
Hi John Samuel hope you had a good flight. Unfortunately we're hit by a bit of sadness here as my grandmother, Ros's mum passed away about 2:00 pm Christmas Eve.
Okay. Now with this boat it's timing that's everything.
Give us a ring tomorrow, late morning.
It's going to be mostly family and low key - (my Nanna will be missed) from the 29th to the 31st, but after that the gamers will start to arrive in force so around new year's day would be the best time to turn up.
Subject to your own timing committments with planes of course, which is why you have a wider window. :-)
The 29th itself would be tricky for us, as that's the day we learn to run the boat, and will be at Ravenswood to start with.
This is why we need 24 hours notice as to when to pick people up, because there are long distances to travel and the boat is very slow.
And a reminder that you will need to bring sheets if you intend to overnight.
We can talk about food tomorrow - we've said to most people it would be nice if people could feed us at some point. :-)
I'm sorry to hear that. Have the best Christmas you can today under the circumstances.
ReplyDeleteI need to talk about a few things like what to bring, and arrangements for food but I'll ring people to talk about that tomorrow.

OK, thanks. I don't have any time pressures since I'm flying back on the 8th. I'll ring tomorrow morning around 11ish to work out details.
