There should be a word for when someone is trying to burn their bridges behind them, but the wood is wet.
LOL!!! Even better then that! - The spontaneous creation of life from nothing. The term was created back in the very early days when people didn't associate the sudden appearance of rodents with loose storage practices. They thought these little critters simply appeared. The opposite of Spontaneous Self-Combustion in a way.
