Lunch van is not working until Thursday ... Went to car, opened door, stuck key in ignition and triggered accessory mode. A/C starts blowing superheated air, opened passenger window to take advantage of slight draught. Waited until A/C was emitting air cooler than the ambient then got in, closed windows and drove off. Noted that A/C was reporting 43 degrees C external temp. I'm sure it was never this complex when I was younger.
Not really. They tried syringing it but it's too firmly compacted. I'm trying eardrops to soften it and will just have to put up with it on the flight.
Arghfle
ReplyDeleteDuly noted. I won't go outside until I can't avoid it.
ReplyDeleteWhereas I rushed outside to do the watering before it got even hotter.
ReplyDeleteAircon working at work ... no shelter for car in carpark ... should have bought some frozen dough rolls to be baked.
ReplyDeleteCars are really good to dry fruit and veggies in, if you don't mind them smelling of whatever you dried for weeks afterward.

I have now ventured outside to a medical centre in Churchlands. Fortunately both car and waiting room are air conditioned.
ReplyDeleteIs your ear improved?
