I am one of the many who isn't at Continuum either. But I've never really felt the pressing need to go there. None of the descriptions I've heard have ever drawn me. I'm probably doing it a disservice though. I'm sure it's perfectly fun and nice and cool stuff happens there.
Have fun there people!
It hasn't rained for a good few days, and this afternoon it has just started to rain again. It feels like rain with intent, very gentle but insistent, and hasn't stopped since it started.
We have had a domestic sort of weekend, doing the washing and Rob building the new house server. We had videos with Poss on Saturday night, watching Briscoe County Junior, The Man From U.N.C.L.E, Lovejoy and Mission Impossible as well as Jinsy. I cooked http://quirkycooking.blogspot.com.au/2014/01/paprika-chicken-with-creamy-paprika.html for dinner and Poss brought some delights from a delightful patisserie she knows whose name temporarily escapes me.
I have separated from Facebook and feel much better for it.
We didn't have much of a show for rpging on Friday due to illness and Continuum and romance and Thailand and so forth but one gamer turned up and we had a good game of At the Gates of Loyang and Euphoria:Building a Better Dystopia.
I had a shocking round of disc golf on Wednesday. Perhaps this Wednesday will be better.
