RPGing tonight, we are going to check out the Green Gram, it changed owners a few weeks ago, so I don't know how it will be... if anyone feels like Indian let me know.
Part of the reason that we're going is to check it out, so we don't have much to go on except for the new owner's assurances it will be business as usual - we don't have a menu yet, but in the past it's all been pretty good. Butter Chicken, Saag Ghost, Chicken Achari and so forth.
Hmm the address they are showing there is not the one in Scarborough. But we will investigate tonight, if nothing else, Bollywood does very acceptable takeaway.
I could go indian food. What does their menu look like?

ReplyDeleteAhh ... http://www.greengram.com.au
ReplyDeleteDalcha Murg (or Dal-ch-murg) looks good with rice and can we also get a bunch of chutneys and raita to share?
ReplyDeleteWow, that's new!
ReplyDeleteThey've gone all modern and everything! Good spotting!

ReplyDeleteSo, it's now called Curry Pirates and here's the menu. http://www.urbanspoon.com/cities/338/restaurants/1829034/menu_photos/432565 and http://www.urbanspoon.com/cities/338/restaurants/1829034/menu_photos/432567 Would Dalcha Murg be the daal with chicken do you think?
ReplyDeleteI reckon Daal with Chicken is close enough.
ReplyDeleteOK, put me down for the butter chicken with some rice (unless we're doing some rice sharing). It's a good test dish.
ReplyDeleteCool, will do.
ReplyDeleteBTW. Got urge to bake last night. I have malt loaf :)
ReplyDeleteOooooOOOOHhhh.
