Well, recumbents with their deck chair seating are so much more comfortable. We had VERY sore behinds even after a little cycling the first day. Also, recumbents are more efficient in their transfer of energy.
I guess it depends where you are Ruth Turner I got mine from http://justbents.com.au/ but I think you can get Greenspeeds most places, if you order them.
so why dont you ride upright bikes any more ? enquiring minds need to know !

ReplyDeleteBike pants help with chafing, but not with the dreadful pressure of a seat designed to be a torture instrument.
