Lightly steampunk themed COGZ will be released on Kickstarter on the 30th of this month, a very polished abstract pattern matching tile re-placement game. I've written  a review of it here if anyone thinks it sounds like their cup of tea.  http://www.boardgamegeek.com/article/15797239#15797239

  2. Thanks! I've played it several more times now - Wez Lamont has been rigorous with his design and testing.  One thing I didn't notice at first - when you set the number of players/number of turns on the Game Gizmo - on the reverse it shows the number of tiles to lay out - really handy! I'm eager to get a copy of my own. And lots to give away.

  3. If anyone is wondering where this is, Wez Lamont was hoping to launch at the end of last month but a few things he wanted finalised didn't happen. He wants everything as set up as possible before lauch, so hopefully around mid month.

  6. Not that I've heard. I think Wez Lamont is more active on Facebook, but I've left there as it got too annoying.

  9. An update from Wez.

"Sorry for the lack of updates of late as I've been buried trying to get everything sorted for the Kickstarter Launch. So some updates:

Kickstarter Launch: Saturday 29th 8am (this Saturday)
Website and Newsletter: Now up and running
Print and Play: The print and play is currently available on the website via signing up to the newsletter
Launch Event: I'll run a COGZ tournament at Decembacon for those who would like to try it out. I'll teach everyone prior so don't worry if you havent' played it before. If all goes well I'll try to bring along Ludicrous COGZ as well to run the finals on and hopefully some casual gaming as well.

I would love any promotional assistance for the Saturday Launch. I've got a list of avenues at the moment but if people have recommendations I would love to hear some. "
