Last week saw the introduction of two new characters, both jewellery students. One is a Dwarf. Both are students of a famous Centaur sage, and hence have been invited to a party held by the eminent critic and writer, John Ruskin, celebrating the rescue of the Pre Raphaelites by some other students.
At the party in Mayfair, things get interesting. Apart from the great music and drinks and nibblies and cavorting fauns and other dancers.
The two jewellery students get into conversation with Berthe, a nice lady - friendly and accommodating and very happy with the attention - wearing an interesting ruby brooch. She may well visit them at their class next week.
Burley also gets into conversation with her at the prompting of his magical helper. The Tear of the Sun God has been spotted! Despite heated conversations in the WC with his snake / ring nothing spectacular happens except that he may have garnered a reputation for being somewhat...eccentric. Even more so.
Meanwhile the bold rescuers tell their tale to Mr Ruskin who listens, along with some of his guests with great attentiveness.
Cynthia (NPC) and Alexander get down on the dance floor in the garden to the exultation of the fauns, and William and Susan mingle, advise Burley and also enjoy the party.
And all of this before 8:30! Feel free to add to the account any snippets that amused or interested you that I forgot.
