On Friday the gamers returned to London.

On Friday the gamers returned to London. The Irish Guard went into ríastrad - battle spasm - torque - warp spasm - berserk, whatever you want to call it. After that the Fishmen had not much of a chance except to flee into the water, if they could make it. And it didn't stop Lord Sétanta doing a Beowulf and pursuing several Fishmen under the water and slaying them, unbeknownst to the player characters. Several Fishman may also have been...fatally detained by members of Lord Saranathan's family prowling the edges.

But where is Jonathon the Architect? Outside Sungpow and young Sara spot Fishmen dragging someone - Jonathon - out of a drainage grate. Sungpow handily levitates the unconscious Architect with attendant Fishman over to their perch on the building. Sara gets some stabbing practise in.
Sung Pao performs some elegant surgery with chopsticks and knife to remove Something Nasty from Jonathon's jaw, it looks like a mermaid's purse or something, and inside was a little black snake, worm or eel, which Didn't Want to Be Removed. It, however, was.

Meanwhile The Decayed Elf pops up from another grate and throws a knife at the other fishman and consequently finishes him off.

The Decayed Elf whilst trying to round up stragglers also approached Lord Setanta with a weapon in his hand who was in his beserk state. Lord Tan quite naturally went on the attack, especially when he was shot in the foot by said elf. Sidling away, TDE slipped into an alcove where he encountered a cowering fishman trying to avoid Tan. Thrusting the fishman into Tan's way, he went off to deal with the affair above.

The Night Watchman of the Baltic Exchange investigated strange sounds, but soon returned to his cup of tea, causing some anxious moments for the Decayed Elf who was prowling about Looking for Clues.

Eventually the Irish Guard came back sans Tan. A party consisting of the Indian Fakir and some highly amused Irish Guard return with a blushing Tan after the Fakir shows Tan one of the pretty ladies from the Temple again. "Can you not be leaving it up just a bit long, to be sure?" Ask the Irish Guard.

Tan is skillfully manipulated into having his foot healed "It's but a scratch!"
"But the man needs to practise his art to perfect it."
"Well, alright, I'm not getting between a man and his art then."

They secure one prisoner and some are picked up by a growler drawn by a single centaur who has been detained by Saranathan's party for this purpose.

Others are then approached by one of Saranathan's cousins. "Can you lend us a hand with this?" Asks the London Shopkeeper, referrring to the unconscious Jonathon.

"I'm afraid that I only have a coach." purrs the Raksha, which The London Shopkeeper allows will have to do the trick.

They depart the scene with everyone intact, having rescued the menagerie owner as well, who is still infested with some sort of eel like parasite? Something will have to be done.

Orthrus eventually is picked up by Saranathan's people and does not rejoin the party.

Again my memory may be faulty, so add or subtract as your memory prompts.

Also there will be no gaming at Sydenham street this week as Genghiscon is on.
