Today felt like cool relief. I was quite surprised to learn it was in fact 34-35^C. Yes, cowering inside was the way to go yesterday. Not to mention the day before and the one before that.
It's starting to pitter patter here. Astonishing. And so cool! Well, as you say, compared to yesterday etc. Even the chooks have deigned to poke their beaks outside.
I seem to have a mental gauge concerning temperatures, meaning up to 30^C, I go out, no problem. 30-35, if I have a need to go, I do. 35, it better be important, 35-40 plus, not a chance, you're on your own! :-)
Sounds like you have had a wonderful time! Great post :D
ReplyDeleteI am so lucky!
ReplyDeleteReally glad things are going well (except for the heat, thats just insane)
ReplyDeleteIt's only 35C now with overcast sky. :-)
ReplyDeleteApparently it's going to get to 41C.
ReplyDeleteyeah, I'm not really looking forward to another 41C+ day
ReplyDeletePerhaps the cloud will prevent it getting quite that hot.
ReplyDeletelets hope so
