Some of our guests this year.

Some of our guests this year. From left to right Fe Waters, Jane Espenson and Michael O'Brien. We'll get a photo of the delightful Lian Hearn tomorrow.

An early night is on the cards for us, but we're very happy that pre-Swancon has got off to a good start, and that's a nice thing.

Just walked back from the guest dinner at Bella VIsta.

Just walked back from the guest dinner at Bella VIsta. Very pleasant evening, had opportunities to chat with various people, including Michael O'Brien from Chaosium who has exciting news of games coming out. Credo anyone? Dragon Pass? And some smaller games too.We exchanged kayaking love with Lian Hearn and are jealous of her tales of the Coorong, and Fe Waters is always good to talk to. Jane Espenson was lovely too. Looks like we have a lovely bunch of guests this year. The chicken was good, and the gf dessert substitution was ok.

Well, it's not long until #swancon starts.

Well, it's not long until #swancon  starts. We're checked in, and have been enjoying the VIP club at our hotel. My hair is dyed and we're off to meet the guests at the dinner. I'm going to try to keep a running commentary of my Swancon experience here in this collection, hopefully keeping better track than I have in past years. Remind me!
