I was just looking at your website for my Uncle Vic who wants a plaque for my Aunty Judy who passed away recently. She's in the 'grassed area' at Karrakatta if that means anything.

Anyway did you know your website up the top it says Stocks Bros Monumental? It's Stock Bros isn't it?

  1. Yes stock bros monumental works aka Stock bros. is full name. Also Fremantle monumental centre and karrakatta monumental centre. We have gathered a plethora of names over the decades and having acquired them, we can't seem to shed them.

In the grassed area? do you have a location? there are restrictions on where we can go. If it was a burial in the lawn section then any of the lawn style monuments are applicable.

If it's in the lawn area then you have to have a granite base 1220 x 300 x 200. The headstone on top of that can be anything from a small wedge like the L8 up to the maximum total size of 1220 x 300 x 1050 high.

If you give me the deceased full name I can look it up the location on the mcb website.

  2. What I'm pointing out is that it's listed up the top of your website as Stock*s* (see the extra 's' at the end?)

Thanks, Judith Mae Sabbioni is the name.

  3. Ok location is called General lawn 6A. grave no V22. That is a lawn area cemetery which as far as I know is suitable for all headstone designs. Its up near the Smythe road entrance and lawn 6 is a standard lawn area. The plaque must be natural stone or bronze attached to natural stone.

I never noticed we were in the stocks before now. I'm sure we weren't a few weeks ago.

  4. Thank you, that's very handy to know. I'll pass the info on. Yeah I thought it wasn't right.

    Compulsive proof reader, that's me.
