Today's been very interesting.

Today's been very interesting. Rob Masters might be good enough to share some photos from today - This morning, well yesterday morning really now, we were involved in the Credo playtesting for Chaosium.   We had a fun game with Michael O'Brien the vice president of Chaosium talking us through, and discussing how it can be improved and what bits are working. We all had a fun game, and while I was not really ever a huge voting force, I like to think I had an influence. We ended up with a tritheist bunch of sun worshippers being written into the Bible, Mark got in first, and I a respectable second.

After that we adjourned to have some lunch - just a tin of fish and corn in our room, then walked down Barrack Street/Wellington Street to grab me some elf ears and Rob some accessories for the Masquerade.

We got back in good time for Jane Espenson's GoH speech.  Played Ticket to Ride Netherlands after that, which is an evil, evil variant and I like it! At least this first game.

Then we browsed the nibblies at the Pacific Club (they got us some gf chicken skewers as a supplement to the veggies and dip that were alright for us, and then we got ready for the Masquerade.

I think they wanted to move us on through because they played music throughout the catwalk, too bad for anyone who had a verbal component to their costume.

It was a pretty good space for dancing and mingling. The chinese lantern were a nice touch.

After the masquerade, we played TTR Europe with Alex, Karl and Paul, and then Rob played World of YoHo with Elaine, Paul and Karl.

Tomorrow we will be playtesting Chaosium's new Runequest.

I hear that a room party got shut down tonight for being too noisy, but the one last night was noisier and didn't get shut down. Go figure.
