Now, I really don't know whether these two will go towards Andreas Walters goals, because they're sculptures (sculpture is the Cinderella of the fine arts, or it used to be until digital art came along). The Sea Serpent and Baby I made in around 1978 or 1979, when I was in primary school.  The Dragon and Child in porcelain, which is jolly hard to work, I did in 1982, 1983 or earlier sometime.

Today, in Australia, the Joint Standing Committee on Electoral Matters reported to the Parliament with its recommendations. As well as agreeing that we must proceed with the proposed reform to make Senate voting ‘above the line’ more democratic, the committee  also called for ‘below the line preferential voting’ reform.

On March 2 the government agreed to support this reform.
