I would suggest that anyone not involved in last week's adventure amuse themselves in other ways tonight, elsewhere.

Their characters will be well behind the action, and I much prefer people be in the game then observe. Catchup is just not going to work tonight.

I posted this here (https://www.boardgamegeek.com/article/29536406#29536406) but in case you didn't see.

I've received the guidelines from Richard Lloyd.

More information about how the tournament for Squatter will work. There are other things which I'll talk about next month at WABA and at the tournament if you can't make next month, (steveg) but this is the how the winners will be decided.

There will be a 90 minute time limit.

You must have won the game to have a chance to win the tournament - ie to have all 5 Irrigated Pastures with their full component of sheep.

That's worth $10000

Then add up your Cash.
Add the sale of Stud Rams ? x $500.
Add the sale of Haystacks ? x $500.
Add the sale of Firefighting equipment ? x $350.

Then add the worth of your sheep in Improved & Irrigated Pasture x 30 according to the top draw of the stock sale pile.

The winner of the tournament will be the person who has the most totalled at the end.

There is one rule that I will touch on here - if your dice roll knocks your opponent's sheep out of their pen, you have to pay your opponent $20 per displaced sheep.

The Organiser will settle any disputes and the Organiser's decision will be final.

The brand new 1st class Centaur carriage on the afternoon train to the sleepy town by the river Derwent met with approval by our aspiring apprentice sage, and the Bakewell Arms is doing its best to accommodate all three gentlemen from London who have arranged a stay there.

It is to be hoped that the gentlefolk will be already aware of the situation at Carrack House as reported in the Times morning edition this morning, and will not be discombobulated by missing out on seeing the Great Conservatory and the House and Grounds.

The village and the surrounds possess their own charms of course, and hopefully the visitors will enjoy a pleasant stay in this early September.

"Visitors hoping to view Lord Carrack’s magnificent house and gardens will be disappointed to hear it has been closed indefinitely to viewers. Enquiries have indicated that Lord Carrack and the majority of his household staff are attending to urgent business in the City." - The Times, morning edition.

If you are a Western Australian Boardgaming Association member you should have got your membership renewal email by now.

If not, you might need to check that they've got your details correctly.

It is, apparently super helpful to the committee if you choose the online banking option.
