I'm experimenting with https://paom.com/stores/wonderful-things-alicia-smiths-artworks/ as cafepress have removed their print all over option, rather suddenly. As I've been able to get some larger works scanned recently, I'm having some fun with it.

Hi Elaine Walker One of Mum's friends at Glendalough - the lady at number 14, has offered her parking space to one of our Friday night visitors. She doesn't have a car and Mum does her some favours.
So if you let me know when you're leaving, I can guide you to it. Drive all the way in, turn right at the bins, look for me.
I figure you have furtherest to come so are least likely to get a decent spot, so I'm nominating you for it.

I can't seem to get my Circles working correctly in the new interface.
I can't seem to get my Circles working correctly in the new interface. I click on "People" and it brings up a list of my circles. Okay, I click on one of them, but all it does is show me who's in it. How do I select a circle to view in my stream? The old way has a bar of choices level with the Home button.

I and Rob Masters just had our first play through of Artem Safarov 's Cauldron after the Kickstarter fairies delivered it some weeks ago. Taught ourselves, two new visitors to the boardgame club, and another chap, we had not even punched it.
Very clear, no questions, could learn as we played.
Most enjoyable, thank you, already a favourite!
Edited: I forgot the other player, oops, it's late, I'm tired.

#lego #adalovelace #babbage A fine idea! A bit of a pain to vote for as you have to get a Lego Ideas login, but if you know anyone who is into Lego, let them know. I'd buy it.

These were all taken on the same day, in the same botanical garden, showcasing our wonderful, wonderful flowers of Western Australia. We are well into second spring here, or Kambarang as it's known to the indigenous population. We are very, very fortunate.

The supporting band for They Might Be Giants gig at the Astor was a band called The Community Chest, and wow, if ever there was a band that I knew I'd like before they finished the first song, this was it.
Highly original, with good solid rock bones and a very distinctive - almost airy synthy sound. I really need to sit down and listen to the lyrics because there's clever writing there - hard at a concert with earplugs on (oh they were needed!) but I'm liking what I'm hearing. This is music that's going to get me up and dancing.
It would have tonight, but I knew I had to save myself for two hours of TMBG dancing, so I sat and seriously listened to the sound, concentrating, and really liking what I was seeing too! This local band, which according to their historian, has been going for two thousand and eleven years - I asked - and it shows, as they have a very smooth synergy together on stage - and all of them are apparently involved in other bands.
We're to look out for their next gig in January, but in the meanwhile have a look at their bandcamp site http://thecommunitychest.bandcamp.com/music and listen to the music and see if you enjoy it.
Adem K of the WAMi attracting band Turnstyle is the lead, and other band members are Trevor '100%' Cotton, Laurie Sinagra, Professor Pieter Yunken and Dee Kerimofski.
9/10 Splendid and finding a gemstone when you were expecting cut glass.

Title
Just back from the They Might Be Giants concert at the Astor in Perth tonight. They Might Be Giants were great - although suffering from terrible jet lag they still managed to give us two great sets - the first mostly new - but by all means fun and interesting tracks. That TMBG mix of humour and whimsy shining through.
They played us their cover of Destiny's Child's Bills Bills Bills (courtesy of A.V Undercover) and a good deal of Glean, their great new album. And the old favourites - Birdhouse in your Soul, Fingertips and a very humorous rendition of Istanbul (not Constantinople) as well as many others.
Thoroughly enjoyable, great crowd, and the Astor is an excellent venue for this sort of concert. Plenty of seats to take a rest on, and plenty of room to dance, plenty of space to be near the stage. And three bars, so no desperate crush for drinks.
Nice light show and effects - the crowd and band projected behind the stage was a great touch.
The lateness of the guest list for the
They were very ably supported by The Community Chest, who were so good they deserve their own separate review, so stay tuned for that.
9/10 solid and meeting good old friends who have had a very long day, but still want to take you to dinner and tell you their best stories on the Sid and Nancy Scale.
They Might Be Giants have four more concerts in Australia.
