I don't think I've mentioned it here, my apologies for the late notice. At 10.25 pm on Monday 25th June Mikey O'Brien passed away peacefully in the arms of his wife Bec, after standing against a brain tumour wrapped inoperably around his brainstem for more than 2 and a half years after the professionals predicted he would last.

Sailor, gamer and all around good fellow, one of Rob's sea scouts even when Rob was at Pelican Point he will be very much missed by everyone who knew him.

The world is a darker place without him, but he lit many lamps of joy that he leaves our lives illuminated by. Boardgames, love of sail, ska and a tricky game of Mornington Crescent and a great sense of humour are a few he's left with me.

Fair winds and calm seas, Mikey.

The next Twighlight Imperium game I play will be dedicated to you, seeing as it was one of your favourites, if not THE favourite.

New Design: Little Jewelled Dragon. A nice little dragon I drew with my new Kaweco sport fountain pens. Thank you Notemaker! It's very nice to be able to have enough pens that I don't have to keep dipping to get at different coloured inks. This was a fun little interlude, taking a break from the big black and white magnum opus.
